At Avalon Press we make it easy to contact one of our composers and contract for a commissioned work. The terms of the contract are between you and the composer—we never ask for a percentage of the price. Our only request is for the right of first refusal to publish any works that result from your agreement. We also offer our services (contracted with the composer) to prepare score and parts for the performance of the work.
